I decided to start with an introductory blog post about myself and what this blog will be about.

Let me introduce myself! My name is Ameley and I would like to refer to myself as a technology enthusiast. After graduating from university, I found my passion for technology and fell in love with HTML & CSS, although my day job didn’t involve any coding. Fast forward to 2021 amid the pandemic, I found that passion again and have been riding the wave ever since.

Back in 2021 I began teaching myself to code again where I fell in love with Frontend development, completed a 3-month intensive Software Engineering course and since then I have developed numerous projects and websites. Some of which can be found on my website ameley.dev.

Currently working as a Solutions Specialist for a SaaS company I leverage my technical expertise to provide technical solutions and implementations for our clients. Since working as a Solutions Specialist, I have a newfound interest in Cloud technology which has led me to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and in part why this blog is being created.

Having developed an interest in Cloud technology and specifically the cloud service provider AWS, I am making this blog to document not only my journey in learning about all things AWS but also to help others learn through my desire to become an AWS subject matter expert.
